It is our philosophy that Risk Management is a process rather than an event.
This means that an effective risk management plan is an active water treatment strategy to minimise the unavoidable risks associated with the operation of a building’s water system, with the aim of providing safe drinking water.
To achieve this goal for our commercial water treatment plans, we have adopted the ‘Water Safety Plan’ principles identified by the World Health Organisation, as well as International, National, and State guidelines.
Hindmarsh Water Treatment’s Water Safety & Risk Management plan utilises a patented process to assess and define building risk.

As defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO) in 2005:
“Safe drinking water is water with microbial, chemical and physical characteristics that meet WHO guidelines or national standards on drinking water quality.”
